MUSEUMS for ALL
This admission program rate is available during normal operating hours as listed. Upon presenting a Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card OR a Women, Infants, & Children (WIC) card, and a valid form of photo ID, a discounted admission of $3 per person, valid for up to 4 people in the immediate family, will be granted. Museums for All admission guests must show their SNAP or WIC card and photo ID in order to receive tickets, therefore, pre-purchase tickets are not available for the Museums for All program.
American Horticultural Society’s Garden Network Program (GNP)
Members of the American Horticultural Society (AHS) and members of participating AHS Garden Network Program public gardens may receive up to two complimentary general admission tickets. The complimentary admission applies only to the head(s) of the household whose name(s) appear on the membership card. Individual memberships receive one complimentary admission.
Other participating public garden membership benefits or categories such as duo, family, plus-one, corporate, or similar memberships do not apply to the Garden Network Program. The Garden Network Program is only available during the Iowa Arboretum & Gardens’ posted operational hours and not available for after-hours special events, programs, or activities.
To receive complimentary admission, GNP members must present their current membership card at the Arboretum’s admission desk. Because membership cards must be verified at the time of admission, GNP members cannot pre-purchase or reserve tickets online.
TRAIL CONDITIONS & SERVICES
Woodland and Prairie Trails are now open!
Occasionally trail conditions result in closing trails for safety. Please follow all posted closings.

Directions
FROM THE NORTH AND EAST
Take I-35 south to Highway 30 (Ames). Go west on Hwy 30 (13.1 miles) to Highway 17 Exit. Turn left to go south to Luther (4.8 miles). Turn right and head west on E-57 (2.4 miles). Watch for the Iowa Arboretum sign and turn left at Peach Avenue (1.9 miles).
FROM THE SOUTH
Option 1: Take I-35 north to Highway 210 (Slater/Maxwell Exit). Go west on Hwy 210 (12.6 miles) to Madrid. Turn right and head north to Luther (6 miles). Turn left and head west on E-57 (2.4 miles). Watch for the Iowa Arboretum sign and turn left at Peach Avenue (1.9 miles).
Option 2: Take 80/35 to Highway 141. Follow this north (10.3 miles) to Highway 17 and travel through Madrid to Luther (15.6 miles). Turn left and head west on E-57 (2.4 miles). Watch for the Iowa Arboretum sign and turn left at Peach Avenue (1.9 miles).
FROM THE WEST
Option 1: Take Highway 30 through Boone. Turn right and go south on Highway 17 (4.8 miles). Take a right on E-57 (2.4 miles). Watch for the Iowa Arboretum sign and turn left at Peach Avenue (1.9 miles).
Option 2: Take Highway 141 to the east through Perry. Take Adel/Ogden Exit and turn left on Highway 169. Take a right on E-57 and watch for the Iowa Arboretum sign. Turn right at Peach Avenue (1.9 miles).
