Paws in the Park!

On Saturday morning, September 16th, 2023, The Foundation for the Boone Area Humane Society will hold its annual “Paws in the Park” 5K run/walk. We invite you, with or without your four-legged friend, to take a healthy 5K run/walk on behalf of the Foundation through the beautiful Iowa Arboretum. There will be no group start to the run/walk. Upon registration, you will be free to begin the course. Registration will be held outside, weather permitting, or inside the Cafferty building if raining. Enjoy a refreshment after the race for you and your canine friend.

Registration between 7AM – 8AM. The entry fee is $30.00.The fee is $35.00 for registrations received after September11th.

Participants may also opt to pay the “Lazy Dog Fee” of $30.00 (Stay in bed and
still support the Foundation).  Online registration is available at: getmeregistered.com Registrations before September 11th will guarantee a T-shirt. Walk-in registrations on the day of the event are accepted. Questions can be directed to Krista Moffitt at (515)-230-2704.
