Evergreen Centerpiece--A make and take workshop

In this “make and take” class participants will use fresh cut greens to create a tabletop arrangement that will last well into the new year. Enjoy it in your own home or make it a great gift for another. You will learn how to distinguish between different kinds of evergreens and how to use floral wet foam, wrap, picks, and wire. Review basic elements of design and  experiment with embellishments like ribbons and ornaments. You are encouraged to bring your own clippers and light work gloves. Sandy Gossman and Nan Bonfils will co-teach.

$20 members             $25 nonmembers              Prices include a $5.00 materials fee.

Please call 515-795-3216 to pre-register so that we can gather enough greens. There will be 3 different sessions starting at 9 am, 10 am and 11 am. Please specify which session you will be joining.

This is also the morning of our waffle breakfast.  Expect a busy, festive day.
