Fall Family Morning – the Mike Hike
Sep 19 @ 9:00 am – 11:00 am
Fall Family Morning - the Mike Hike

Come for a wonderful morning with our neighbor and extraordinary naturalist, Mike Havlik. He’s back with music, stories, books, and a LIVE critter. What will it be? We’re guessing an owl. What do you think?  Whatever it is, you will be up close and get all your curious questions answered. We wrap up the morning with a hike led by Mike followed by snacks. The Arboretum is so lucky to have Mike in our big backyard. He’s worked for many years with Des Moines Y Camp and is now a naturalist with Dallas County Conservation. If you have missed out on this annual event, JUMP IN NOW!  It’s always awesome. Returning fans are always welcome because there’s something new to learn. Dress for the weather; we hope to be outside the full two hours.
