Welcome to the Iowa Arboretum, a Library of Living Plants. Visit our 378-acre facility in scenic Boone county any time of year.
Our grounds are open sunrise to sunset daily and admission is free. We showcase hundreds of species of trees, shrubs, and flowers in a tranquil setting as well as woodland trails and a restored prairie walk.
The Arboretum calendar is filled with educational activities, fun events for visitors of all ages, and opportunities to get involved as a volunteer.
