EAB, Emerald Ash Borer is devastating trees in Iowa parks, woodlands and backyards.  Come learn from experts about the insect, vulnerable trees and strategies for protection, treatment and replacement.  Our panel of presenters from agriculture, entomology and horticulture will be anchored by Emma Hanigan, Urban Forestry Coordinator Iowa Department of Natural Resources, Brandt Jelken from CopperTree Consulting and Dr. Donald Lewis, ISU  Extension Specialist in Entomology.  Bring your curiosity, concerns, stories and questions.  Class time includes a short walk on the Arboretum grounds.
