Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head

The plants at the Arboretum have seen a lot of rain lately, but they aren’t complaining! The ‘Leda’ Peonies have been soaking up the rain and are now in full bloom. Standing at 4-5′ tall, the ‘Leda’ Peonies are perfect for a perennial garden.


First Signs of Spring

The Iowa Arboretum is awakening from a long winter. Visitors and flowers are beginning to appear. It is a great time to be outside and walk the woodland trails and Arboretum pathways to find the many hidden secrets of nature.
